Guru Nanak Khalsa College

Guru Nanak Khalsa College was established on April 19, 1969 with an objective to spread education in this backward area, particularly for girls for whom it was difficult to reach kapurthala for education. This college is situated near Gurudwara Hatt Sahib. The college provides peaceful academic environment to the students. College is recognized by the Punjab Govt. and is affiliated to GNDU, Amritsar. It has Arts, Commerce and Computer streams alongwith certain other Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate diploma courses including M.A.(Punjabi) and PGDCA. At present there are about 750 students getting education in B.A., B.Com. B.Sc.Economics, B.C.A., B.Sc(IT) PGDCA, M.Sc(IT) and M.A.Punjabi. Certain other Certificate Courses, Diploma Courses & Advanced Diploma Courses under UGC Career Oriented Programme are likely to be started in the near future.
