Guru Nanak College for women ,Charan Kanwal Banga was established in 1969,on the occasion of quincentenary year of Guru Nanak Dev ji.It follows the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Who emphasized the role and importance of women in society by saying "How can a women be degraded who gives birth to kings?" College is situated on Phagwara-Nawanshahar road. The insignia of the college is 'Service and Sacrifice'. The college campus is build on a large area. The college provides opportunities and facilities to all the students irrespective of any caste ,creed and color. Its managing committee functions in complete concurrence and selfless service . We hope this institution will always progress by leaps and bounds in future also with the able guidance and co-operation of the managing committee as well as the parents and renowned people of the area.
