It is a matter of immense pleasure to introduce you to Govt. College for Women, Karnal. After its inception in April 1998, this college has been able to reserve for itself, in a short span of time, a place in the list of 25 Excellent Colleges of the State. After starting with only Arts & Commerce streams, it made rapid progress and today, it offers in addition to B.A, B.Com, B.A (Hons.) English , B.Sc. in Non Medical & Computer Science, BCA, BBA & M.Com, M.A. (Hindi) & M.Sc Geography. The objective of the college is to make available rich academic environment to the students so that they, after acquiring their degrees, become aware and committed citizens, rich in social and moral values . The goal of education is not bookish knowledge but the inculcation of high human values and the acquisition of certain abilities to meet the challenges of life.
