Ujjain, the glorious center of learning, has registered remarkable progress in the field of education right from the days of Guru Sandhipani. Situated in the heart of Ujjain "THE GOVT. KALIDAS GIRLS MODEL COLLEGE " which was started in 1981 has emerged as a constantly progressing institution and attained new heights. It has been declared as the leading college of Ujjain district by Department of Higher Education , Govt. of M. P. This college successfully runs three faculties - Science (Palin and Computer Science), Commerce (plain and computer application) and arts under one roof as well as PG classes in Political Science, Vocal music, commerce and Sociology. With the cooperation the PG diploma in fashion designing and marketing is started in the session 2007 - 08. Thus provides congenial atmosphere for interaction and overall development of students.
