Government Engineering College Kozhikode

Govt. Engineering College, Kozhikode (GECK) is one among the engineering Colleges established by Govt. of Kerala during the academic year 1999-2000.The college offers B.tech degree courses (full time) in the following branches of engineering :- 1. Applied Electronics and Instrumentation 2. Chemical Engineering 3. Electronics and Communication Engineering 4. Mechanical Engineering 5. Civil Engineering The duration of the above courses is 8 semesters. The annual intake of students is 66 in each branch. In addition to B.Tech programmes, the college conducts following M.Tech programmes :- 1. Signal Processing (AE&I) 2. Energy Systems Analysis and Deign (ME) 3. Computer Aided Process Design (Ch.E) The College is affiliated to the University of Calicut. It is under the administrative control of the Director of Technical Education, Govt. of Kerala. The institute is located in the historic city of Kozhikode, in the Malabar region of the state and well connected by air, rail and road routes to the rest of the country. GECK is proud of its meritorious students, highly qualified faculty, state of art of laboratories, infrastructure and reputed alumni.
