Our institution i.e. Govt. Degree College Theog, is about thirty two Kilometers away from state capital Shimla. Our college is surrounded by snowbound Himalyan Peaks in all directions. Our college was established in the year 1998 to ease out the burden of colleges in Shimla City. Initially there was faculty of Arts. The faculties of Commerce and Science were introduced in July 2002. This college is accredited on September 15, 2012 by NAAC with CGPA 1.82 which is valid unto September 14, 2017. College is also affiliated to University Grants Commission under section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC Act 1956 to get financial assistance.
