Food and Agribusiness School (FABS) is equipped to train the agribusiness managers who can take the agriculture into a new orbit of profitable profession for 138 million farmers in India. Food and Agri Business School (FABS) at Hyderabad, Telangana State is one of the premiere institution providing PGDM in ABM or agribusiness management under Sagar group of Institutions, Chevella, Hyderabad. FABS started its journey under the able leadership of Dr. K.P.Reddy, IIMA, the former director of IRMA, Ananad as founding Director and trained successfully 5 batches of youngsters who have occupied prominent positions in agribusiness industry. The program is out of box in nature with class room learning and filed level projects and hands on exposure and industry interactions. FABS is also executing various farmer friendly projects and programs in collaboration with Acharya N.G.Ranga Agriculture University, Hyderabad and Government of Andhra Pradesh. Number of farmer benefitting projects and programs are under execution both in newly formed Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh State under various schemes of Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, New Delhi. These activities also provide exciting learning opportunities to the students of PGDM, agribusiness management. FABS has networked with large number of agribusiness enterprises, enabling the students to have hands on exposure and great placements.
