Fateh Chand College For Women

Fateh Chand College was founded in 1935 in Lahore by an eminent philanthropist Rai Fateh Chand. He was a visionary who regarded education as the most potent instrument of womens empowerment. Through education he sought to promote feminism which would commit women to Indian ethos and culture and yet help them develop a cosmopolitan and progressive outlook as well. The college is a testimony to his vision and indomitable spirit.
