Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), located in Gandhinagar district of Gujrat is an autonomous and not-for-profit institute.The institute was established in 1983 and is sponsored by the IDBI Bank Ltd, IFCI Ltd, ICICI Bank Ltd and State Bank of India. The institute is spread in a 23 acres green campus, just 7km from the Ahmedabad airport on the way to Gandhinagar. Its buildings designed by Bimal Hasmukh Patel received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 1992
