Doon Post Graduate Paramedical College and Hospital

The Doon (P.G.) Paramedical College & Hospital was established in the year 2000 and runs under Ch. Charan Singh Memorial Educational Society (1988) with objective to provide medical assistance for the health especially in the area of physiotherapy, medical Laboratory Technology, and Medical Microbiology. To realize our educational goal, the college further diversified and initiated Innovative and Multidisciplinary Master Degree Programs in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. It was on 25th December, 2001 that Hon'ble Shri Ajit Singh ji, the then Union Minister of Agriculture, inaugurated a new block namely Louis Pasteur in Doon (P.G.) Paramedical College & Hospital. In December 2002, a State of Art Biotechnology Laboratory and a new block "Har Govind Khurana Bio-tech Block" were inaugurated by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of the H.N.B. Garhwal University. Subsequently, Master degree course programs in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry were initiated to provide students with broad training and education in Professional Science Courses.
