Its motto is also to train youths who can be gainfully employed for the overall development of the civil society at large. Academic Affiliation The Institute is affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal Central University, Srinagar, Garhwal (Uttarakhand) and is also approved and recognized by the State Govt. of Uttarakhand. The institute is accredited by NAAC, an autonomous body funded by UGC, and recognized by UGC u/s 2(f). The Institute is also approved by Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), Mumbai and National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE), Jaipur. Building on Reputation The institute is reputed country wide for academic excellence and offering well focused programmes in biosciences. This reputation is further reflected through our academic staff and cosmopolitan student body, as they come from different states of the country. During 2011 the institute is accredited by NAAC up to 2016, an autonomous body funded by UGC that assesses and accredits Institutions of Higher Education in India. It is one of the first self financed institutes in the state to have been provided with this accreditation.
