Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education was established in 2005 with the initiative of Divya Shiksha Sansthan Trust. Divya Shiksha Sansthan Trust was established in June, 2004 with an aim to provide platform for promoting peace and harmony n the society and also to promote better educational opportunities especially for rural students.The Management Committee of the college is the amalgamation of social worker,Industrialists, principals, and Educationists etc. Now this college is a part of Universal Group of Institutions since 2012. During the span of 11 years, it brought laurels in academics and co-curricular activities. Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala, recognised by NCTE, Jaipur and feels privileged to be accredited with Grade "A" by NAAC (National Assessment & Accreditation Council, Bangalore) after comprehensive, exhaustive and criteria wise evaluation of the varied aspects of the institution. Integrating value education with formal education and social work carried out in the vicinity are the other distinguishing features of the college. College is assessable in all weather through Pucca roads. Campus is spread in 5 acres of land and is nearest to Bus stand and Railway Station. The ultimate aim of the college is to impart knowledge through well qualified faculty, excellent academic delivery and vast practical exposure.
