DAV College of Education

DAV College of Education, Hoshiarpur is one of the largest academic centres of North India providing its services in the field of Education. It was established in August 1966, with two units of fifty students each for B.Ed course. In the last 47 years, the college has grown into academic giant. As per NCTE norms, today the college has three units of 100 students each for the B.Ed class which makes our college the largest college in the State with maximum number of seats. The college is running M.Ed. course since 1971 with a sanctioned strength of 35 students at present due to its matchless service of growth and grooming of our students. Test of every religious, political or educational system is the person that it forms. DAV College Managing Committee, Hoshiarpur is providing valuable guidance and inspiration to all the educational institutions running under its supervision. Guided by the missionary zeal and visionary approach, college is constantly evolving, improving and updating itself under the dynamic leadership of our worthy president Dr. Anoop Kumar and our honourable secretary Sh. D.L. Anand (Retd. Principal). The college is equipped with ultra modern infrastructural facilities. All the lecture rooms are well equipped with smart boards and projectors to make our students competent future teachers. Our college has spacious auditorium with latest amenities having capacity of more than 350 Seats.
