Datta Meghe Institute of Engineering, Technology and Research - DMIETR was established in 2008 with a vision to make an indelible mark in the field of engineering education & research. In a short period of five years, it has developed itself into an institution of quality & excellence in the field of technical education in the region. As a centre of learning dedicated to education, research & service, DMIETR maintains an environment of academic excellence & intellectual competence. Datta Meghe Institute of Engineering, Technology & Research has six engineering branches at undergraduate level, two diploma polytechnic courses, a post graduate engineering course and a post graduate management course with approximate 2000 students. The majority of the students come from rural areas and belongs to lower middle class families. Although they are good in studies, they are shy & inhibited when they are admitted to the Institution. Hence, they need to be groomed well, so that they are competent enough when they deal with campus interviews. They also need to be mentally strong to withstand the pressure & stress of doing well in studies & other activities.
