The campus of Dayanand Amarnath College of Education was established as a part of R.K.arya College, Nawanhahr in 1955 through the munificence of late dr. Amarnath .This institution works with the avowed objective of providing pupil-teachers of the regin,quality education,modern facalities in yteacher education,to upgrade teacher competence and to equip them with latest innovations in pupil teacher interaction.The institution is constantly striving to make education a forceful tool for bringing social change by educationg women. The institution strives to develop among student teachers sound knowledge of subjects , classromm communication patterns,effective and practical transactional strategies in the classromm,attitudes,motivation and skill in varieth of school contexts. D.A.N. College of Education Nawanshahr is on the Rahon road (Nawanshahr). The campus is in pollution free environment away from crowded city life offering congenial atmosphere for all round growth of the buddy teachers.
