College of Pharmaceutical Sciences

The college has introduced M.Pharm Courses since the academic session 2000-01. At present, the college is having M.Pharm with specialization in pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical analysis & Quality assurance; along with B.pharm. Presently, this institution is located in a panoramic. Greenery & picturesque site with natural academic friendly environment at Mohuda, in very spacious land of 23 acres, which is around 7 kms from Berhampur town. Berhampur is on the Howrah-Chennai main line, which is well connected by rail & road. Bhubaneswar is the nearest Airport, which is around 170 kms by road/rail. Courses: M.Pharm B.Pharm FACILITIES: INFRASTRUCTURE: The college is well equipped with excellent infrastructure of permanent buildings with state of Art facilities (Laboratories, Lecture hall?s Seminar Halls, Instruments Unit, Computer Unit etc) with all required additional amenities as per the AICTE, PCI norms. This is the only institute in the entire eastern belt to procure a world class FTIR spectroscopy from Perkins Elmer of Switzerland, besides having other Modern Analytical Instruments for providing a strong research base. The College is recognized as a model research center for the Ph.D programs by various Universities. LIBRARY Well furnished Library with around 8300 books and more than 37 Journals ( National & International) / periodicals are provided with adequate reading room , internet access and Photo copy Facilities.
