College of Agricultural Engineering

The Agricultural Engineering discipline aims to support the agriculture section in developing its agricultural production in a wider prospective. The College of Agricultural Engineering (CAE) came into existence under the Rajendra Agricultural University on 7th Dec. 1983 to give the much needed impetus for agricultural development in the state through education, research and transfer of technologies related to agricultural engineering. The College of Agricultural Engineering is producing good number of trained agricultural engineers to support and maintain the pace of agricultural development in the state. The college has three main functions : teaching, research and extension and thus the College has a good set up for teaching and research.
