A small sapling at inception in 1996, the Christian Eminent College grew exponentially into a large multi-branch tree within a few years, achieving several milestones. First, it was granted permanent affiliation by DAVV; then, recognition under section 2(f) and 12(B) by the UGC which also conferred upon it the elevated status of an Autonomous Institution. Now the College frames its own upgraded courses of studies, conducts all its tests and examinations, and ensures timely declaration of the result-all as per the academic calendar declared well in advance. Subsequently, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a body of UGC, accredited Christian Eminent College with the highest ?A? Grade, a rare achievement, in appreciation of the quality and excellence of its education and environment. Similarly, recognizing the merit and prestige of this College, the renowned IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) has already established here two of its Programme Study Centers for Computer Science as well as for B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education). Christian Eminent lays special emphasis on classroom teaching by learned and experienced faculty members.
