Christian College of Nursing

The Christian College of Nursing, Ambilikkai established in 1987 is one among the FIRST private nursing colleges in Tamil Nadu. It aims to provide high quality nursing education and to inculcate a spirit of service and compassion in its students. The College of Nursing is a Christian Minority Education institution, recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University and registered with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council. The College is situated on a 39 acres beautiful campus along with its parent hospital. The Christian Fellowship Community Health Centre is a 250 bedded multi-specialty secondary level hospital with emergency care, theatres and intensive care units. The hospital has the distinction of being the only hospital in this district with radiation facilities for cancer patients and modern urology services. The College also sends its students to other affiliated hospitals as and when required to provide a wider range of clinical experience. The College buildings are spacious and well-ventilated and fully compliant with INC requirements. The well-equipped laboratories and vast library help to make learning a pleasure. The hostel buildings have been totally renovated as a Silver Jubilee project and the new JUBILEE HOSTEL is truly a home away from home. The sylvan surroundings and quiet ambience is conducive to study & health. The Christian Fellowship Community Health Centre is located 7 km from Oddanchatram, right on the Madurai - Coimbatore state highway.
