Canossa College of Nursing

Canossa college of nursing is a unit of the Canossian Charitable Institution Society. This college was started in the year 2004, is run by the Canossian daughters of charity, a religious congregation originated in Italy in the year 1808 by St. Magdalene of Canossa the Foundress. Canossain world covers a network of activities such as pastoral, educational, medical & social services across the whole world . Keeping alive the image of Magdalene we strive to devote our time and energy to the integral promotion of the individual so that the authentic human values are discovered, accepted & brought to maturity by all, synchronizing with the dynamic current needs of the time. A team of Canossain missionaries launched into the land of Cherukunnu from Italy, who collaborated with the missionary Jesuit priests to improve the health status of the locality as it was a felt need of the time. Cherukunnu has thickly populated multi-religious society generally working people.
