BSS Mahila College

B.S.S MAHILA COLLEGE,DHANBAD was established on 17th of August, 1977 to promote Value ?based education for women especially the tribal and underprivileged class. The college campus is located in an area of 5 acres in the heart of the Dhanbad city which happens to be the district headquarter. This college is a govt. aided College, permanently affiliated to Vinoba Bhave university , Hazaribag. The College was recognized by the UGC under its clauses 2(F) and 12(B). The College offers 3 years degree (Hons. and Gen)courses in different subjects of Arts, Science and Commerce. Besides this, the College has its NCC and NSS units . The College has about 77 faculty members including 4 Teachers, who are constantly endeorouring to make significant brak through in their fields. It has well equipped- 14 classrooms and 06 laboratories which are the main assets of the institution. Sports facilities are also provided to the students.
