Bharathiar College of Engineering and Technology

Bharathiyar College of Engineering and Technology (BCET), Karaikal, U.T. of Puducherry was set up in 1997 to offer programs in the field of engineering education in the country. The college is the epitome of the vision of its founder Shri. M.K. Rajagopalan. The college is affiliated to Pondicherry University (A Central University), and approved by AICTE. The campus is located in Thiruvettakudy village, 10 km away from Karaikal town. The college is housed in a sprawling 25 acre complex with the state of the art infrastructure facilities. The library of the college has a reading ambiance with a stock of over 34,000 books and subscription to more than 370 journals. The various laboratories in the college are equipped with the required facilities in terms of equipments, machineries, gadgets and work space and updated in accordance with the syllabi prescribed by the Pondicherry University. The college has well furnished class rooms, seminar halls, auditorium, sports & games ground, an indoor games hall and a hygienic canteen.
