B.A College of Engineering and Technology (BACET), Ghutia, Jamshedpur started its journey of continuous spread of education in the academic year 2007-2008, under the aegis of the ?Bihar Association?. Situated in the 598 district of the Jharkhand State, the college offers 4 years degree courses in different branches of engineering. The college being situated at Jamshedpur furnishes it with an added vantage point, since the city is the industrial capital of Jharkhand and enjoys national and international importance. It is well connected by rail and road and air (to Kolkata) to several important cities and towns of the country including metros. The BACET has a sprawling campus, located on NH-33, 22 Kms from Jamshedpur and 18 Kms from Ghatsila. The nearest railway station is Galudih (7 Kms from the campus), on the Tatanagar-Howrah route via Kharagpur. The college is spread across 20 acres of land, with the main campus having 90,000 sq ft of built-up area.The expansion of teaching and residential area of boys is already in progress which will add aprroximatrely 75,000 sq feet of more area thus making the main campus area to 1,65,000 sq feet.
