Our dedicated and energetic Chairman Dr.Virugai G. Jayaraman who has been reflecting his young age dream in the present days, to realize the truth i.e. To serve the suffering humanity because he always feels the ?service to humanity is service to God.? Accordingly he established Sri Devi Karumariamman Educational Trust in 1997 which ventured so many things in the past. One of such thing is the establishment of Educational Institutions. In 1999 the Trust was established Engineering College namely Arignar Anna Institute of Science and Technology, subsequently another college for Management Studies in 2002 in the name of Arignar Anna Institute of Management Studies and Computer Application at Pennalur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu situated at 20 kms from Chennai. The Trust is secular in nature, in the aspect that the Trust has already conducted so many wedding to the poor people, food, accommodation and healthcare to the poor and physically challenging person, financial assistance for the poor farmers for the better implementation of agriculture, to the underprivileged sectors of the society including Haj pilgrimages. As another Milestone of the Trust, a Hospital was started in 2009 that is now developed as Annaii Medical College & Hospital to serve the poor and needy of the society in region of Sriperumbudur. Further the Trust is intended to develop this Medical College and Hospital for the poor and under privileged sectors in this region at affordable/free of cost as a service to the humanity.
