The Padmashali Community originally belong to the Telangana State of Southern Hyderabad. Affected by natural calamities like plague and famine, they were forced to migrate to several other places, during the Peshwa era (AD 1850-1860). The chief occupation of the Padmashili community being weaving they continued to do the same even after settling in different places. They are recognized for their hardwork and sincerity. And with their expertise and skill they earned a prominent place of pride in Solapur City The contribution of the Padmashali community in the social, cultural and industrial spheres is worthy of praise. Realizing the significance of education the spared no efforts in contributing selflessly in the field of education too. Many noble souls come forward and with their relentless efforts hard work and donations set up the Padmashali Dynati Udharak Samaj Sanstha in the year 1912. Later in the year 1926 the above sanstha was rechristened as the Padmashali Samaj Shikshan Sanstha Solapur. The Sanstha come to be formally registered under the name of Padmashali Shikshan Sanstha in the year 1942 From then onwards there has been no looking back. Today the Sanstha runs 27 educational units which include meatosseries Primary schools, Secondary School, Jr Colleges, Technical institute and a senior college
