Amity Institute of Food Technology, a vital constituent of Amity University was established on December 5, 2006 according to a decision of the Academic Council conveyed vide letter No. AUUP/Academic/03/2006 dated 05.12.2006 by Registrar, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh. In that very Academic Council Meeting, the commencement of B. Tech. (Food Tech.), 4 year programme from the academic year 2007-08 was also approved.
