The Amity Institute of English Studies and Research was instituted with the guidance of the Founder President Dr. Ashok Chauhan under Amity University Uttar Pradesh in the year 2005. Ever since its inception, it has grown from strength to strength. The department offers BA. (Hons.) English; MA English, M. Phil. English and Ph. D. study programmes. In addition to the four full time courses, the Institute also offers part time courses. The Institute also offers tailor made training programmes for governmental and non-governmental organisations.
