The College is one of the premier higher educational institutions imparting holistic education to the youth. The sprawling campus is situated in Perinthalmanna. The College has started functioning in 2004, with a view to nurture quality professionals and excels in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, and Radiological Technology and in many more upcoming areas based on scientific principles, so as to meet the increasing needs of the country. AL SHIFA COLLEGE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES has been recognized by the Directorate of Medical Education, Govt. of Kerala, Kerala Paramedical Council and it is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences. A team of highly dedicated and resourceful teaching faculty supported by a devoted band of Technical Staff and other non-teaching staff facilitates the entire learning exercise a pleasant and successful experience. Beside its infrastructure, sophisticated laboratories, well stacked library, spacious class rooms, convenient furniture and well furnished separate hostel for Boys and Girls. We organize various programs like; Seminars, moral ethics class, conferences and symposia in addition to class room lectures for enriching activities to enhance the students knowledge and initiate them to advanced research. The College has its own parental hospital: Al Shifa Hospital Pvt. Ltd., an ISO 14001:2004 & 9001:2008 Certified tertiary level 450 bedded referral Hospital in Perinthalmanna where the students shall be mainly provided with practical clinical experience. College Council The Council is comprising of Principal, Vice Principal and the Head of Departments. It is an academic body meant to assist the Principal in the proper working of the College. The College Council is only an advisory body and the ultimate responsibility for the functioning of the departments and for the discipline in the Institution as a whole, rests with the Principal.
