Alphonsa College is a religious minority institution owned and managed by the Catholic Diocese of Pala. The institution is at present run under the efficient stewardship of the Patron, His Excellency Mar Joseph Kallarangattu, Bishop of Pala; The management of the College is vested in a Managing Board consisting of the Patron, His Excellency Mar Joseph Kallarangattu; Mar Jacob Muricken Manager, Auxiliary Bishop of Pala; Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Kollamparambil, Pro-manager; Very Rev. Fr. George Choorakattu, Vicar General; Very Rev. Fr. Philip Njaralakkattu, Vicar General; Rev. Dr. Mathew Maleparampil, Prof. Mrs. Jolly Sebastian, Prof. A.V.Antony, the Principal Dr. Sr. Jansamma Thomasand the Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Gigimol M. G. In this age of commercialisation of education it is noteworthy that the management of Alphonsa College has never accepted any form of donation either for appointment of the staff or for admission to various courses.
