Allama Iqbal Unani Medical College

Under the auspices of Rao Educational Society (Regd.) 'Allama Iqbal Unani Medical College & Hospital' has been established for imparting Medical Education through Unani System of Medicine. The College is an autonomous non-profit making body situated at G.T.Road, (Roorkee Chungi) Muzaffarnagar at the distance of 4km from Roadways Bus Stand. Muzaffarnagar is situated at a distance of 120 km from Delhi on the Grand Trunk Road, leading to Dehradun. The climate of city remains hot in summer and cold and dry in winter with intervening rainy season. The College has the privilege of serving the society with a full fledged Hospital fully equipped with ultra modern facilities. The College is committed to deliver quality education in the field of Unani System of Medicine. In short span of about 13 years of its existence, the college has been able to pass out several batches of institutionally qualified, practitioners of Unani system of medicine. The College has its own land and building. The covered area of College building is about 40,000 sq. ft., whereas the uncovered area of the College is about 82,000 sq. ft. The College building consisting of several classrooms, Library, Hospital, OPD, Labs, Dissection Hall, Staff room and a separate Play Ground. All department are fully equipped with ultra modern facilities and basic amenities as per the norms of the Central Council of Indian Medicine(Government of India), New Delhi.
