Adhiparasakthi College of Physiotherapy

Adhiparasakthi College of Physiotherapy, which is nested within the campus of Adhiparasakthi Hospital & Research Institute, was founded by His Holiness Arulthiru Amma in 1994. The college is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University and recognized by Indian Association of Physiotherapists. The college offers both Under Graduate & Post Graduate courses in physiotherapy with specialization in 3 branches namely Orthopaedics, Neurology & Paediatric Neurology. The aim of the college is to impart world class education and training to its students. The students of this institution are moulded into skilled therapist by providing them with a wide range of exposure both in theoretical & practical side. Hands on therapy in manipulating skills are taught using specially designed imported maniquines. The institution provides service to people with impairment and disability living in the surrounding 600 villages free of cost. The electrotherapy unit is equipped with latest technologies like EMG, Biofeedback, LASER, Russian & diadynamic currents, Exercise Therapy Unit consist of modern gadgets like continuous passive motion, supinator- pronator & Mennel?s apparatus.
