It took birth on 6.6.1949 at CHILUMURU ? the abode of the deity Ramalingeswara Swamy ? under the auspices of Sri Gadiraju Koteswara Sarma and Sri Tumuluri Venkata Subba Rao. The main MOTTO in setting up SRI RAMA was that the Residential system of Education should be within the reach of the rural people.
