SPRJ Kanyashala Trust, a pioneer in women?s education, visualized and promoted women?s education at a time when it was not a priority Smt PN Doshi Women?s College was established by the trust in 1960 The college started with five students in BA and has grown into a multi-faculty institution with five thousand students Our vision is ?To be recognized as a centre of excellence for education that empowers women, leading to self actualization? Our Mission is ?To empower women by providing quality higher education, to enrich social and cultural values of women through holistic education and to support underprivileged women with financial assistance to get educated and be self reliant? Our college was accredited thrice with ?A? Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council in 2003, 2010 and 2016 Healthy, all round development of girls, who are the future of any society, is the fulcrum of the wheel, and all our academic courses spin around this Thus it is that our students do not learn for a living, they learn for becoming succor and sustenance to their families, their communities and to the nation We provide education, free of tuition fees to nearly 5000 girls through our Junior colleges (Affiliated to HSC Board), Degree colleges offering conventional and professional courses as well as Post graduate programmes, Diploma Institutes (Affiliated to SNDT Women?s University), Add-on courses and a Career Institute, all under one roof The trust also manages two schools, which are from pre-primary section to secondary section (Std X)
