Hema Prova Borbora College Girl'S College

Hemo Prova Borbora Girls' College, Golaghat was established in 1969, It is the only girls' college in Golaghat district under Dibrugarh University. The prime objective of establishing the college was to foster the advancement of higher Education among females in the rural areas of Golaghat district. The college is permanently affiliated to D.U as well as registered under provision of UGC. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) have visited the college. The college has a hostel accommodation for deserving students within the campus. The college hostel is managed by the college under hostel rules providing all necessary facilities to the boarders and the college has a large and rich library with a good number of books and a good number of daily and weekly newspapers are also subscribed for all readers. The college also provides high speed internet facilities with at least one computer on each department connecting the students with the rest of the world.
