Atpadi Education Society's Shrimant Babasaheb Deshmukh Mahavidyalaya

Rare rains, scanty showers, draught, dust dreariness are nature's apathy on Atpadi and Maan regions through ages. Late Shrimant Babasaheb Deshmukh with some of his enthusiastic friends, while Battling to quench the thirst decided to quench still more serious thirst i.e. thirst of education. It was this action plan to uplift the society of common poverty stricken men by providing self -disciplined and self dependent mass education, It was In the year 1953 that the Atpadi Education Society was established by Babasaheb Deshmukh to begin with some High-Schools. The pioneering effort soon spreading liberal education through High-Schools, hostels and college converted into a fruitful juvenating deed. Tne year 1969 witnessed Atpadi College establishment to attain another height in the field of higher education. From 1969 till today Atpadi College is making hard painstaking efforts to fullfil the goals and dreams of Srimant Babasaheb Deshmukh Through steady progressive steps.
